Pad See Ew



Lunch today was Pad See Ew. Traditionally made with beef, we decided to try it with pork instead to clean out the fridge. Originally a dinner menu item, we quickly agreed on how this is such a "lunch" dish and threw all our plans into the air again (like only every other day!).  

I am getting better with working on the carbon steel wok. Exciting stuff! 

Pretty much followed the instructions here to a T and everything turned out well. 
  • 4 tsp sugar is a good amount. I would't decrease it. 
  • Maggi sauce worked fine as a substitute to golden mountain sauce, but perhaps it's time to get some of dat GMS!  
  • Used Tiger brand dark soy sauce this time... which probably made it nicer.
