Dong An Chicken 东安鸡

Another one for the journal: Recipe below

I think it was supposed to be a dry dish... picture 1

However, given our obsession with all things chicken stews lately, we returned it to the pot, poured most of the poaching liquid into the dish, thickened it with some starch solution, and turned it into a stew of sorts... picture 2 (haha!)
