Huangmenji, Braised Chicken Rice

Notes:
- Need to reduce the sauce further so my chicken won't be swimming in sauce. I think the directions per the video is good, I probably was just rushing it a little when I was cooking because it was late, and I was hungry!
- Need to add more bell peppers! Such a highlight in the dish.
- (afterthought): After many days of different versions of braised chicken dinners, I think you can add some starchy root in this and it will be tasty... taro, chestnut, potato, etc.
Edit: Made this a second time with SoupedUp's recipe and I think this is better with the stronger sweet bean paste taste that I love.
