Napa Cabbage and Pork Stew with Bean Threads - Dongbei Style (东北白菜猪肉炖東粉)

I loved this. Great balance of flavor. Porky. 10/10 will make again. Too bad CC doesn't seem to be able to love Bean Threads!!!! Ugh, it's only like one of my favorite noodles ever? Zzzz, need to work on him more hehe. 

Notes: 
  • This website generally goes rather light on seasoning so I find that I tend to need to add extra since CC and I prefer more salty foods.
  • Since I only used 8 oz of pork (and the dish is packed with vegetables) I did a 2 egg omelette with spicy peppers on the side.  
  • Next time, probably 10-12 oz of pork, 10-12oz of cabbage, 0.5 servings of bean threads (b/c CC doesn't like it and they do expand with some stewing)

  • Scramble eggs in bowl. 
  • Add seasoning. 
  • Fry peppers first in some oil, then add into scrambled eggs.
  • Heat wok up and cook omelette!
