Weekend BBQ Round 2

Another one for the journal:

We both agreed that we preferred the cheapo hanger steak over the NY Strip! Lols. Looks like we have cheaper taste. Sliced it up thin and cook it JBBQ style over KBBQ style. TBH, eating KBBQ for a slow eater like me is so anxiety inducing. I am constantly worried that my beef is going to overcook on the warm grill... why would you cook a whole steak at the same time?? Either that or I get to eat cold beef zzz...

We really enjoyed the swordfish on the grill... and the salmon... and the leftover hanger. It was a smash and halfway through (at almost about the same time) we said this was even nicer that yesterday's! Lol. Well live and learn.

Dipping Sauces: 

  1. Sesame oil and Fleur de Sel
  2. Dashi, soy sauce, lime juice, mirin, scallions to taste (since we didn't have ponzu)
  3. Furikake
  4. Yuzu Kosho and Scallions
  5. Sashimi soy sauce and Wasabi
  6. Salt with Lemon Zest
Vegetables:
  1. Taro
  2. Onion
  3. Oyster Mushroom
  4. Enoki Mushroom
  5. Leeks
  6. Lettuce
